Trotter’s Birthday Party on The Kings Road, Saturday 1st October
Trotters Thanks Chelsea for 20 Years on the Kings Road
Saturday, October 1st from 11am – 5pm, Trotters is hosting a lavish birthday party in the form of a community charity fete celebrating 20 years in Chelsea.
Trotters is a family-owned, one-stop, children’s boutique located directly opposite the Duke of York Square. A Saturday ritual with local families, Trotters provides expert shoe fitting, hairdressing for the very youngest of children, traditional British styled clothing and unique children’s gifts. Trotter’s is one of the few remaining independent, children’s stores in central London.
The birthday party promises to be as classic and delightful as Trotters itself. The green on Duke of York Square will be opened up and there will be a petting zoo, donkey rides, a Victorian carousal and traditional fete stalls - a perfect Chelsea children’s party.
Adding to the merriment, there will also be biscuit decorating by Partridges, cupcakes by Party Cupcakes, ice creams by Patisserie Valerie, pizza by Manicomio, and music by the Dixie Ticklers. Children will be amused with a marquee of face painting, games and competitions, they can take part in dancing lessons from Feisty Feet Dance Studios and mums can wander off into a pampering area attended by a team from Liz Earle.
There will be celebrity children’s authors reading and signing books (you will just have to come along and learn who) along with an enormous pop-up birthday cake. Mr. Trotter, the pig himself, will be in attendance on the big day.
Proceeds from the event will be given to the CAIRN Trust so that Trotters can help build a school in rural Nepal.
The day promises to be fun for all, and provides a great chance for the Kings Road community to come together and enjoy a treat from their favourite children’s boutique.
