London Science Festival Space Explorers, Royal Observatory Greenwhich. Saturday 22nd and Sunday 24rd October 2:00 – 4:30pm. Ages 3+, free
Come and take part in exploring space with fabulously hands-on and interactive workshops designed to help children create knowledge of the solar system. The Holland Park Ecology Centre is holding their Half-Term Workshops Monday 24th – Friday 28th 5 – 10 years, £5 non-residents, £4 for RBKC residents. Come and make your own shelter, find animal tracks, make a bird-feeder, hunt for mini-beasts .. loads of quality interactions learning about nature and the environment. Workshops run from 10 – noon and from 2pm – 4pm. Halloween
Here’s a pick of interesting activities for Halloween in Central London
Fortnum and Mason: Hello, Hello its Halloween Pumpkin Carving Competition. Friday 28th October 3-5pm, children under 10. Bring your carving ideas to the demonstration kitchen at Fortnum Mason Piccadilly and get ready to carve. Come in fancy dress and enjoy goulish and delectable treats. Cardinal Place The House of Fairy Tales Hallow` een Event. Saturday 29th October noon – 4pm, all ages, free. Come and partake in a spooky family theatre workshop filled with fun and fear. Tate Britain, Tiny Tate Action Art, Saturday 29th October 10am – 3pm, free, all ages. Bring your little ones to the Tate Family Day to take part in action, performance, playing, sounds, and dance.
