“Safaris to Lost Worlds” with Hayden Turner at Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show, Earl’s Court Sunday 5th February 2012, noon in Theatre 1
London’s adopted superdad, Australian native Hayden Turner, will be on hand to discuss family-friendly and budget-conscious travel to Namibia and other African destinations where families can experience African wildlife and animals, on their own or on a guided safari. Hayden has worked for over twenty years in and out of Africa establishing animal and nature conservation areas, working as a specialist safari guide, as a wildlife TV Presenter for National Geographic Channel; his breadth of knowledge and intimate knowledge of Africa as a safari guide is unsurpassed.
In addition to being on hand to discuss family travel, the wildlife specialist and conservationist will also talk about award-winning National Geographic series, “Hunters of the Lost World”. Hayden, with his charisma, enthusiasm and sensitivity, will share his extraordinary adventure to learn and document the ancient survival skills and knowledge of animal behaviour of 4 rare tribes of Africa, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
A chat with Hayden will reveal the secrets of self-guided safari in Namibia: how to hire family-friendly vehicles and cross the savannah yourself with no fuss or worry. For the more adventuresome, Hayden can put together a bespoke safari and lead you and your family on a very special African wildlife adventure that you and your kids will draw on for years to come.
