Just for Babies:

Huggle Launch Party, Huggle, Swiss Cottgae, Monday 25th June 5-9:30pm

Make sure to head over to Huggle, London’s premier, family-friendly baby boutique, for what is sure to be the most informative and best shopping event for families with babies this year. Top brands including UPPAbaby, Bloom, Stokke, Baby Bjorn, ittabitta, Little Green Sheep, aden + anais, Beaba and more will be showcasing and demonstrating their products, with specialists and on hand to answer questions.

What’s more, there will be canapés and drinks to enjoy while you get to learn more about the various cots, pushchairs, highchairs, baby carriers, clothing lines on sale. Attendees will be given a goodie bag to take home with them.

Mini make believe at Sommerset House 1st July 2012

Somerset House Mini Make Believe: Sunday 1st July, 11:30-12:30. A mini workshop designed for toddlers and children under the age of 5 and their siblings. Come and do some singing, dancing, bubble popping, counting, then make a quality craft. Free ages 5 and under

The Calthorpe Project, Grey’s Inn Road.

The Calthorp Project provides a fabulous urban oasis for Londoners while working closely with a variety of families in and around Kings Cross. They teach children how to grow and cook food; offer holiday learning schemes; Saturday crèche plus family days with football and other activities for all ages … check out their site for their weekly rota of toddle activities. I will be heading over to check it out and write some more as they are in desperate need of support.

Hyde Park, NCT Westminster,Marylebone and Maida Vale Big Picnic. 6th July 10:30 – 1pm. Meet up in Hyde Park, bring a dish to pass and a toy or two to share. Babies and older siblings most welcome. Pirate Fun at the Golden Hinde, Southwark. Saturday, 30th June, 11am and 2pm. Bring your pirate progeny over to The Golden Hinde and learn how to raise an anchor, sing a sea shanty, learn about pirate life and then go on a treasure hunt. Adults: £7, children ages 4+ £5, family ticket £20

Jamie Oliver's 15 10th Anniversary Party 30th June Islington 11am-5pm

Jamie Oliver’s 15’s 10 Year Anniversary Street Party. Saturday 30th June, 11am – 5pm. The staff of 15, along with favourite Eat Street food vendors like Big Apple Hot Dogs and The Rib Man, will be celebrating 10 years of good cooking with a big street party. Come out for music, dancing and helping the celebrate the fantastic success of the good man who is paying it back by working tirelessly to improve the diets of young and old alike in Britain, America and beyond.

Chelsea Theatre, Sorted Saturdays. Saturdays, 3-5pm, £5 per child, adults free. Bring all the kids, under 11’s: puppets, performance, play and imagination theatre fun. 12-16s: theatre games and workshops for writers, actors, presenters, stand-up comics. Parents can take advantage of the coffee bar and free Wi-Fi.

Somerset House Family Art Workshops: Top Draw. Saturday 30th June, 2-3:30. Come and help create a giant fresco of myths and legends. Ages 6+, free, drop-in
