Bach to Baby: fabulous concerts for carers with babes and toddlers. Back to Baby is perfect for babes in arms as these are concert-hall luminaries performing for adults; these are not concerts pitched for children in particular, although they do enjoy them thoroughly. Bigger Kids:
Family Art Workshops at the Saatchi Gallery: Peek into Korea. Bring your kids to the wonderful Valeria as she leads your children through the gallery looking at a few interesting pieces in the current exhibit then you are off to the studio to create a fabulous work of art to take home. Sundays 11am, 1pm & 3pm ages 4+, £5 per child (younger siblings welcome and non-participating children are not charged).

V and A Family Event, Digital Design Weekend: Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd. Take part in a weekend of events celebrating contemporary digital design: robotics, hacking and tinkering, interactive sound installations plus loads of fabulous family activities and workshops … check out the program here. 10am-5pm, all ages, all free except a few workshops
Wigmore Hall Open House Day, Saturday 22nd September. Come and take advantage of this unique opportunity to visit Wigmore Hall and experience the rehearsal process in an open rehearsal with the Nash Ensamble. You can take part in a creative workshop in the Bechstein Room with Neil Valentine. Rehearsals: 11am, noon & 1pm. Workshops: 11:20-11:50, 12:20-12:50 & 1:20-1:50.
Open House London: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd. This is a fabulous event showcasing homes of significant architectural and historical interest. There loads more on the web site, but The Banqueting House on Whitehall and the Argentine Ambassador’s Residence on Belgrave Square looked particularly family friendly (depending on the ages /temperaments of your kids); do check out the listings for more.
Geffrye Museum Family Art Workshops: Saturday 22nd, 2-4pm come and a mini box and decorate it with fruity patterns. On Sunday, join in Ceramic Celebrations from 2-4pm, your kids can paint a mug.
