Chelsea Physic Garden: Big Draw – Wednesday 30th October, ages 6+, 10:30-2:30pm. Get inspired by the garden and have artists guide children with drawing plants and flowers, £8. Creepy Crawly – Thursday 31st October, ages 4+ 10:30-noon or 1-2:30. Come and watch (and hold if you wish) different bugs and insects. £6

Holland park ecology centre

Holland Park Ecology Centre: Monday 28th – Friday 1st November, workshops held from 10am – noon and 2-4pm. These workshops are wonderful – the children explore as aspect of ecology (lizards, shelter making, using a compass … to name a few) and are led on a journey exploring this through Holland Park. They return to the ecology centre to make a really good craft in conjunction with the theme to take home. £4.10 for RBKC residents, £5.20 non-residents.

Isis Education Centre: Go Batty for Bats Family Workshop. Tuesday 29th October, 10-noon, bring the kids along to make their own bat roosting house using wood and screws – real fun for real kids. £10 per child, £15 for adults (the Isis Education Centre is part of the fundraising scheme that helps maintain the Royal Parks)

Wallace Collection, Curious Cabinets and Beautiful Boxes: Friday 1st November 10:30-12:30, ages 7+. Join artist Zoe Bates in exploring the guilt decorative boxes around the museum and then create your own. £7

Cecil Sharp House English Folk Dancing Course for children

Cecil Sharp House: Folk Dancing Workshop – Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th October, 10am-12:30pm for children ages 6-9 years old. Parents will be treated to a performance at the end of the workshop.

Camden Arts Centre Clay for Juniors: Monday 28th – Thursday 3st October, 2-4pm for 8-11 year olds. Drop the older kids off for a week of clay working. £140 for the week with £70 concessions

Pippa’s Poppets Half Term Workshops: Monday 21st - Friday 25th, 10am-noon, ages 3-6, £90 for the week-long Aladdin production at Beaufort House. Monday 28th October – Friday 1st November, 2-4pm, 3-6, £90 for a week-long Nemo production at St. Gabriel’s Pimlico.

 

Concerts and Theatre

Wigmore Hall: Tuesday, 29th October, 10:30am, ages 5+: come join vocalist Isabelle Adams and learn songs and put on a little performance at the end. £12 adults, £8 child (parents are encouraged not to being younger siblings)

Royal Albert Hall: Discover Blues, Monday 28th October 10am and 1pm. Ages 5+ (younger siblings NOT welcome) tickets £3.50. Family Ignite Concert: Monday 28th noon and 2:30pm. Enjoy an intimate, child-friendly concert held in the Elgar room £3.50 kids, £5 adults.

Chelsea Theatre: Sunday 27th October, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Ages 3+, £8 – award-winning, hilarious production for small children. 11:30am and 3pm

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre Family Events

Globe Theatre: Muse of Fire, Monday 28th October- Friday 1st November, 11am and 2pm, £10, ages 6+. Take part in this story based treasure hunt around Shakespeare’s Globe, help quell the Muse so she does not set fire to The Globe again!!
