Monkey Music Chelsea – Fantastic New Venue
Monkey Music, Chelsea’s ever-popular, “must do” baby and toddler music class, is launching a super new, additional venue in the heart of Chelsea to add to their current locations. Regular weekly classes begin from January 2014 at The Coopers Arms on Flood Street (just opposite Waitrose off the Kings Road) and they are currently taking bookings for their Open day launch next Saturday 23 November.
The Coopers Arms is perfect for Chelsea mums with a beautiful private room on the first floor providing the ideal space for classes, gorgeous, clean, bright and plush. Pushchairs can be left downstairs and will be guarded by the staff, with music and fun taking place a quick walk up to the light-filled, immaculate dining room.
Monkey Music is the favourite early year’s activity in Chelsea and Westminster. Jayne and her staff tirelessly work to keep the ever rotating series of fabulous instruments and props meticulously clean. Not only is there hand sanitizer bottles placed around the class, instruments for the babies are always cleaned before being distributed, and all of them again, thereafter. Jayne and her teachers have stringent health and safety standards for sanitation, ensuring that the toys are kept clean to the highest standard.
Hundreds of families in Chelsea and Westminster come to Jayne and her team, week in and week out for the energy, the entertainment and the innovation. Monkey Music classes bring singing and movement together in a weekly curriculum enhanced with elaborate props, many of them hand-crafted by Jayne, creating a fun, classy, unique educational experience for all. The music and pedagogical approach are exceptional: Jayne strives to make sure that the entire experience is pleasant for adults and child alike. The teachers are all professional musicians, singers who incorporate original and traditional songs with specialist percussion instruments for infants and toddlers
Rock ‘n’ Roll classes are for Babies from 3 months; the Heigh-Ho classes for Toddlers from 12 months; Jiggety-Jig for the 2 and 3 year olds; and Ding-Dong for 3 and 4 year olds making a little music school for your little ones to progress through. What’s more, Jayne’s classes serve as a wonderful catalyst for making connections with other mums in the area. Jayne hosts a half-termly “Daddy Saturday” where all the local, eager the dads turn out to see what their children are taking part in each week. The high-point of many London mums weeks is meeting up with their new-found friends.
