Aquababies, London’s long-established and best-loved programme for teaching babies to swim, is expanding their Tuesday classes at Marble Arch.

Aquababies Marble Arch

Aquababies is a specialist swimming school for infants and toddlers.  This is a structured swim course designed to get the smallest of children confident in the water so that they are able to complete basic strokes upon their completion of their proven swimming programme.  While the driving goal is teaching children the fundamentals of stroke swimming, the prevailing theme is learning that water is fun and relaxing.

Due to strong demand in Paddington and Marylebone, they have just added a new baby swimming sessions to their timetable and these classes are rapidly filling up.  Teach your infant to swim on Tuesdays between 11:30 and 1pm, at exceptional value, £75 for 5 weeks.  If you mention London-baby and bring along a friend, you will receive an additional 20% discount – bring two friends and receive a 40% discount.  Exceptional value for a long-established swim school.

Founder and instructor Julie-Ann James has been teaching infants and toddlers to swim for over 20 years.  She was herself a competitive swimmer before starting her teaching and consulting career.  Aquababies proven swimming programme is now flourishing around the world with classes in China, Poland, Spain, Australia and Ireland.

The other selling point is the venue – the sumptuous Aquababy pool is located in the Marble Arch Marriott, just off George Street – a short walk from Paddington, Mayfair and Marylebone and a short bus ride Knightsbridge, Victoria, Pimlico and Notting Hill.   The pool is lovely and warm, perfect for coaxing new swimmers into a love of water.  Towels, shampoo and soap are all provided, so you do not have to lug wet towels home after your workout.  The even has a family changing room; helping ease the issues with wandering toddlers while mum is getting dressed.
