Lambeth Parish Fete

Lambeth Palace Gardens, Lambeth Parish Fete: Saturday 12:30-5:30 Come and enjoy the gardens of Lambeth Palace complete with food stalls, live music, games and more.

City of London Bowler Hat venue

Paternoster Square, City of London Festival – head over to St. Paul’s and check out the massive Bowler Hat!  Various children’s events take place in here, including Little Angel Theatre’s Dog’s Don’t Do Ballet for £6, check the schedule for details.

Grannery square kings cross wimbledon

King’s Cross, Granary Square, Strawberries and Screen: head over to the gorgeous Granary Square and relax with food and drinks watching Wimbledon on the big screen.

Royal Opera House Family Sundays

Royal Opera House, Family Sunday – if you have had your fill of fun and festivals, head over to Covent Garden and spend the afternoon listening to arias, trying on real ROH costumes, applying stage makeup and making miniature pop up theatres and puppets.  Sunday noon – 4pm, all ages, tickets £3-£5.

Pumphouse Gallery, Sunday Socials: take the kids to join artist Yemi Awosile at the Pumphouse Gallery on Sunday from noon – 4pm for a hands-on, interactive art activity.  Take the kids over the adventure playground after, have a drink at the Gondola Cafe

Kensington Palace Glorious Georges Festival

Kensington Palace, Glorious George’s Family Festival: head over to Kensington Palace Saturday and Sunday for a day of games, dressing up and trails around the palace.  Kids go free, adults £15.40

Jayne Monkey Music Chelsea and Belgravia

Gate Picturehouse, Kids Club: This week’s programme: My Neighbour Totoro.  Tickets £1 with £4 membership, popcorn and juice £2. (best £3 you will ever spend on a rriny Saturday)

Barbican Family Film Club: This week’s feature: A Bundle of Shorts. Tickets are £2, bring the kids and escape the cold while you chill and watch a movie. Great price. 11am, all ages.

Electric Cinema, Kid’s Club: This week’s feature, Postman Pat,  9:30am. Check out the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill with its plush, red velvet beds, sofas and armchairs. Looks like a great way for Dad to occupy the kids on a Saturday morning. Tickets £8 per person. All ages

Electric Cinema, Electric Scream: The Two Faces of January– bring babies under 12 months to this amazingly plush cinema, relax with some coffee and catch a flick.
