Dragging two whining children through soulless department stores is not my idea of fun; grabbing my mate and all our kids and heading to Chelsea Town Hall to look at independent retailers while the kids run off and play? That sounds like Christmas shopping even I could enjoy.
On Wednesday 3rd – Thursday 4th December, Babyccino Kids will be hosting The ShopUp. Basically, the best independent children’s retail event of the year. Over 30 of the very best independent children’s boutiques will be under one roof, showcasing their beautiful, curious, enchanting toys, their decorations, clothing, accessories and much, much more.
Just a few retailers include The Hedgehog, specialising in traditional toys and gifts; Macaron’s children’s eco-couture made in Germany; Muna London’s exquisite Scandinavian inspired furniture plus scores of other interesting, unique vendors providing some of the highest quality merchandise all under one roof.
What’s even better, bring the kids. There will be activities for them, nibbles and drinks for all. If your kids are a bit too young for this kind of event, the event runs until 9pm on Wednesday 3rd. You can run out after bedtime, maybe even meet a friend for a quick drink after getting the Christmas shopping out of the way. Even better, get a sitter and make it a night out for both of you!!
