Monkey Music is Expanding!!

Jan 12, 2015 by

Everyone is having so much fun in Chelsea’s award-winning specialist music classes for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers that Monkey Music is opening new classes in Chelsea, Gloucester Road South Kensington, Pimlico and Belgravia.

These ever-popular, “must do” baby and toddler music classes take place in some fabulous venues and incredibly convenient locations. Regular weekly classes begin from January 2015 at Holy Apostles Pimlico on Friday mornings.  Holy Apostles is located just off Lupus Street and the 360 bus route.  It is completely step-free with a large buggy park inside for pushchairs and a large garden for children to have a little run around.

Another remarkably convenient venue, St. Stephen’s Gloucester Road, is located right in the heart of Kensington, just streets away from the Natural History Museum.  Classes are held in a charming church room, a warm and intimate contrast to the grand scale of the neighbourhood.   The Monday afternoon slots have a few open places and Thursday mornings are perfect for anyone doing a near-by school run wanting to take younger siblings to have some quality time of their own.

Monkey Music Cineworld Room

A few places have opened up at Cineworld on Fulham road.  Classes take place on the first floor of the cinema, the venue has a particular “wow” factor, as it has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the glamourous Fulham Road.  There is a large, monitored area downstairs for pushchairs.  Classes take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings in addition to Friday afternoons.

The Coopers Arms venue is another gorgeous room with a beautiful private room on the first floor providing the ideal space for classes, gorgeous, clean, bright and plush. Pushchairs can be left downstairs and will be guarded by the staff, with music and fun taking place a quick walk up to the light-filled, immaculate dining room.

Monkey Music is the favourite early year’s activity in Chelsea and Westminster.  Jayne and her staff tirelessly work to keep the ever rotating series of fabulous instruments and props meticulously clean.  Not only is there hand sanitizer bottles placed around the class, instruments for the babies are always cleaned before being distributed, and all of them again, thereafter.  Jayne and her teachers have stringent health and safety standards for sanitation, ensuring that the toys are kept clean to the highest standard.

Hundreds of families in Chelsea and Westminster come to Jayne and her team, week in and week out for the energy, the entertainment and the innovation.  Monkey Music classes bring singing and movement together in a weekly curriculum enhanced with elaborate props, many of them hand-crafted by Jayne, creating a fun, classy, unique educational experience for all.  The teachers are all professional musicians, singers who incorporate original and traditional songs with specialist percussion instruments for infants and toddlers

Rock ‘n’ Roll classes are for Babies from 3 months; the Heigh-Ho classes for Toddlers from 12 months; Jiggety-Jig for the 2 and 3 year olds; and Ding-Dong for 3 and 4 year olds making a little music school for your little ones to progress through.  What’s more, Jayne’s classes serve as a wonderful catalyst for making connections with other mums in the area.  Jayne hosts a half-termly “Daddy Saturday” where all the local, eager the dads turn out to see what their children are taking part in each week.  The high-point of many London mums weeks is meeting up with their new-found friends.
