Abel & Cole Cooking Boxes for Kids

Jul 15, 2015 by

To help make the most of the summer holidays, Abel & Cole has put together beautifully crafted, fabulous boxes to help your kids learn to cook: check out the new Abel & Cole Kids Boxes.

The recipes are clever, inspired and nutritionally balanced. Each week a different kit will arrive at your home; the first week will have the theme of Lemonade Stand where children learn to make sugar free lemonade (agave nectar cleverly substituted) and banana, coconut macaroons. The second will teach kids how to make their own broad bean pasta! Each kit will provide all the ingredients, beautiful recipe cards, with cooking tips and fun activities.

All the recipes are sugar-free and packed with organic fruit and veg.  Order now before they run out and learn alongside your kids how to roll pasta, steal the seeds from a vanilla pod, expertly crack an egg, shape a loaf or leave them on their own to teach you… great wholesome learning from London’s very best, complete, organic, home delivery service.

This was our first one. I believe it was aimed at kids a bit older (there were some knife skills needed). But, overall, it was pretty great for Evie (almost 5).It was a “Roman holiday” box this week. She made homemade pasta with favs beans and fresh pesto and a tomato salad. She did all of it and had a lot of fun. Plus, this was dinner for us all. So, she had the added responsibility of cooking for us all. If you’re looking for a way to get kids into cooking, I highly recommend the boxes. She had a great time. The fact that this was vegetarian was an added bonus.
