Pippa’s Poppets: London’s Sweetest Little Music Classes
Pippa’s Poppets is a fabulous activity for mums and kids: its a sweet, little music classes filled with original, west-end quality music. All of Pippa’s classes feature original songs and beautiful, handcrafted musical instruments. Kids absolutely love the homemade drums and the colourful click sticks are just delightful.
The very unique selling point with Pippas Poppets is you are not paying to sing Grand Old Duke of York; her classes are filled with sonorous melodies, jazz-hand actions and are an absolute favourite with mums and little ones alike as the classes are full of pure theatrical energy and originality.
Complimenting the fun and original music in the classes are the venues Pippa has found. Monday classes are held in St. Gabriel’s church in Pimlico inside a beautiful room with soaring timbered ceilings. Tuesdays you meet in Knightsbridge in St. Columba’s light-filled and spacious meeting room, just around the corner from Harrods and a quick walk from The Kings Road. On Thursdays you can either head to Chelsea in The Hut, opposite Christchurch off Alpha Place; or head to Little Bevan, Pimlico’s boutique children’s clothier for a morning lesson. Fridays are held at Bumpkin in South Kensington, a beautiful restaurant appealing to families with children with a 20% discount for Poppets mums!
These classes are an absolute favourite with local mums and book up very quickly. Do make sure you get in touch about the Christchurch The Hut venue, as there are a few remaining places on Thursday mornings.
