Diddi Dance Chelsea
A fabulous pre-school dance class has opened in Chelsea; diddi dance West London is a specialist dance school for children 18 months to 4.5 years, that combines music and movement, with fun for adults and children alike, and has just opened in Chelsea.
The emphasis at didi dance is joy, kids are encouraged to dip in and out of activities as their interest allows. They are not forced to sit or participate when they are unsure or not interested, fostering a positive view towards music and movement. The classes focus on styles of dance including Flamenco, Tap, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Morris, Cowboy and children are encouraged to respond to the music with movements with adults getting the same workout as the kids.
Every half term (6 or 7 weeks), there is a new theme focusing on one of the 16 styles of dance taught at didi dance. Each theme incorporates props like hoops, ribbons and instruments to help encourage kids to participate and have a great time. The sessions are 45 minutes, children and adults leave the classes with a definite “pick me up” which is a great way to start the day.
Diddi dance is held at Cineworld on Fulham Road on Thursdays at 9:30 and 10:30. If you have not been, Cineworld is a brilliant venue. There is a secure buggy park in the lobby downstairs which is monitored by staff. The staff is very helpful and if you need assistance are very happy to help get you in and out and up the stairs with little ones and kit. The room is amazing, there a floor to ceiling windows that overlook Fulham road, with a nice, large space for everyone to move around in.
